Does Watching Porn Make You Worse With Girls? (Hint: Ouch!)

Does Watching Porn Make You Worse With Girls?

Does watching porn make your interactions with girls worse?

The short answer is, not for everyone, but for a lot of men out there it is really so: porn can make you worse with girls!

And not just in normal every day interactions, but also in the bedroom.

Let's take a look…

How watching porn can make you worse with girls…

There are several reasons behind why porn can make you worse with girls, but let's start by taking a look at a biological explanation…

….your dopamine.

Or to put it in a more accurate way, the effect overconsumption of porn has on your dopamine system.

Overconsumption of porn can cause a disrupted dopamine system – which in turn can make you more timid, socially afraid and less “alpha”.

Too much porn can make you more timid and less “alpha”…

There are studies made, on both animals and humans, showing how a high dopamine receptor density is correlated with being more “alpha”, having more social status and being more outgoing and less socially timid.

And here's the deal, too much porn can knock out some of your dopamine D2 receptors.

Studies on both animals and humans show how those with fewer dopamine D2 receptors are more socially withdrawn and less “alpha” than those who have more D2 receptors. By now we also know that people who are addicted to porn have less of these dopamine D2 receptors.

It's not just bro science…

If this sounds strange to you, then take a look at a video I made a while back on  my YouTube channel, where I share the exact biological process of how this happen.

In the video you'll also discover something that will most likely blow your mind.

Take a look right now, while it's fresh on your mind.

How watching porn can make you more “Beta” and less “Alpha”

Another way watching porn makes you worse with girls is the mental aspect of it…

Porn can also make some guys have worse interactions with girls simply because of the mental aspect of it.

A lot of guys who watch porn report things like…

  • Having a hard time with eye contact when talking to women…
  • Finding it difficult to see the real person instead of  merely seeing a sex object…
  • Feelings of shame making them awkward…

Simply put, many of them don't know how to handle themselves.

How watching porn can make eye contact harder?

The psychological aspect of it plays its part.

When you are fapping to porn you are closing your curtains, making damn sure no one can see you. Well, what signals are you sending your subconscious mind when you do an activity that you absolutely feel you need to hide?

Porn tends to hijack your sexuality. On top of that, your porn use may have escalated to the point of you watching all kinds of weird stuff. No wonder a part of your brain may start associate your drive for intimacy as something shameful, that you can't be open with. Thus you may feel shameful or even like a creep when you talk to women. Naturally eye contact becomes difficult to mange as a result of this.

Giving up porn may potentially skyrocket your social interactions with girls…

And this is something giving up porn can improve.

Well, at least if we want to believe all the thousands and thousands of guys who claim their interactions with girls have skyrocketed in quality after they've given up porn.

Take a look at the following video for a perfect example of that…

I've never seen anyone crushing NoFap like this guy…

So, porn can make you worse with women, no doubt, but just how common is this?

How common is it for porn to make guys worse with women?

Well, let's take a look at a poll I made in the community section of my YouTube channel.

I asked the following question…

Do you feel that watching porn has made you worse with girls?

600 people voted.

I think I can let the poll speak for itself… 92% against 8%.

Let's take a look at a few comments guys left after participating in the poll…

What guys are saying about watching porn and how interactions with women may suffer

Absolutely. After abstaining from porn (and going back to it trough relapses) I have realized a fundamental difference in how I view women and how I interact with them. It also degenerates your desires with women making them almost exclusively sexual in nature. Without porn sex becomes much less relevant, naturally – as it should be.” –Алтегоре

1000% it's like there's this unconscious shame we carry for a period after watching porn. If I have watched the poison I may be more awkward and uncomfortable around women. When I'm doing well away from porn I am confident and funny..I really don't care as much what others think.” -Resilient Recovery-

“I just can't talk to women. I become awkward because of brain fog. Always. I need to clean from this first (the porn).” -win easy-

“Without a doubt. It takes so much from you and you don’t realize it till it’s to late” -Johnny Blaze-

Me before NNN (no nut November): can't even talk to friends properly. Me after NNN (successful): the most social person on the planet” –ChikinNugets.

Watching porn can also make you worse with women => in the bedroom…

Most people are aware of this by now.

Porn is literally killing mens performances in the bedroom.

The desensitization of the dopamine system (that we talked about in the first video at the top of the page) in combination with sexual conditioning can cause porn induced sexual problems.

Things like these are very common…

  • Low libido for real life people
  • Weak or sluggish erections
  • Complete PIED (porn induced erectile dysfunction)
  • Delayed ejaculation
  • Loss of sensitivity
