Can NoFap Make You Successful? (Study Finds Actual Link)

Can NoFap Make You Successful?

NoFap isn't some kind of super magic bullet that will automatically make you successful. I mean, if your only focus in life is to just “not touch your wiener” and you think that that'll somehow magically fill your pockets with gold, you're up for a rude awakening.

But here me out here…

…believe it or not, NoFap can actually help pretty much.

In fact, it can help more than a lot.

Check it out…

This is how NoFap can make you successful….

If you were to ask 100 success coaches and gurus out there about what the most important thing for success is, you'd probably get some different answers, but there is one thing they are all in 100% unanimous agreement on…

The ability to postpone gratification, I.e. delayed discounting, has to be right up there among the most important traits for success.

And this is pretty easy to understand.

I think everyone can agree that, being good at sacrificing instant pleasures and rewards for long term gain is not only important for success, but is, in fact, absolutely necessary.

NoFap makes you better at this trait – And real science backs it up…

So, does NoFap make you better at this? This whole ‘delayed discounting' trait?

Absolutely it does!

NoFap significantly improves your ability to postpone gratification. This is not that strange really, because just think about what you're doing when you embark on a NoFap journey…

Over and over you have to practice the art of saying “no” to one of the strongest biological drives we have, our sexuality, and instead focus your energy on other things in life. Of course this is going to improve your ability to postpone gratification in other areas of your life as well. Studies even point to this ‘refraining practice' being particularly effective when your sexuality is involved.

Video presenting an interesting study on NoFap and discipline…

I made a video a while back where I share findings from a study made on people who abstained from pornography for 3 weeks time.

  • One group of people were to abstain from pornography for 3 weeks time…
  • Another group were to abstain from their favorite food groups for 3 weeks time…

In other words, both groups needed to practice the art of postponing gratification. The study was designed to find out which group developed the most self control. Or the most ability to postpone gratification…

…guess which group who won?

Well, take a look for yourself right here…

I hope you found the video interesting.

But NoFap can help with something even more powerful…

So, now that you understand how staying away from fapping to porn can be a super tool for crafting and developing your ability to delay gratification, let's take a look at one more really powerful thing that is at play here…

…your dopamine system.

Porn can cause a dysfunctional dopamine system…

You see, it's not just the fact that saying “no” to urges helps train you. It's also the fact that overconsumption of pornography can take a toll on your dopamine system.

More and more studies are coming out (here are 60 different studies) showing how, the more porn you watch, the more dysfunctional your dopamine system run the risk of becoming.

Here's the deal…

You do not want to have a dysfunctional dopamine system, because dopamine has a lot of important functions.

Here are one of the most common symptoms of a disrupted dopamine system…

BEFORE Quitting porn addiction…

  • Lack of energy…
  • Low motivation and drive…
  • Depression…
  • Poor concentration and focus…
  • Apathy…
  • Low libido…
  • Feelings of fear, shame and anxiety…

I think everyone can easily see how things like that can stand in the way of becoming successful.

I mean, just take the second point there, “low motivation and drive”, well good luck reaching success without having drive. The same goes with energy and the ability to focus.

Dopamine, used right, helps you become successful…

And here's the deal…

When guys then give up fapping to porn, their dopamine system return back to optimal functioning again.

So, instead of suffering from those negative symptoms they now start experiencing…

AFTER quitting porn addiction…

  • Increased motivation, drive and willingness to do things…
  • Increased confidence…
  • Significantly more energy…
  • And, as we discussed, your now added benefit of being good at postponing gratification…

Now of course this doesn't mean NoFap will guarantee success. I would never even start claiming things like that. However, if you contrast the before and after there, it would take an idiot not to see which one is going to be more helpful if you want to reach success.

If you want to see exactly how NoFap helps reverse your dopamine system to optimal functioning again, then I'll embed another here for you.

In the video you can see the biological process of what's happening inside your brain…

It's called, why guys who do NoFap win at life…

Hope you found it informative.

Even the old bible of success, the book “Think and grow rich” talks about sexual transmutation for successful men…

There is an old book, published in 1937, called Think and grow rich. Written by Napoleon Hill.

That book is said to be responsible for having produced the most millionaires in the world so far. Itis thus referred to as “the bible of success” in the self improvement world.

The reason for why I bring that book to your attention is because in chapter 11 of that book the author of the book, Napolen Hill, talks about something called “sexual transmutation”.

Sexual transmutation and how it can help us…

You see, in order to write the book, Napolen Hill vent on a very long journey where he studied and interviewed the worlds most successful people for 25 years.

25 whole years!

In his book he reveals that one of the traits he saw among the most successful men out there was that they were all people who had a very high sex drive, but instead of wasting it on chasing women, they used the drive to help them achieve their financial goals instead.

You can >>Download<< my FREE Quit porn guide here…

They had mastered the art of channeling their sexuality into reaching other goals instead.

This is what he calls sexual transmutation.

Sexual transmutation builds on the premise that, when you abstain from releasing, there's a build up of energy. Just like when you build a dam in a river. Instead of bursting the dam or opening up the dam (releasing the pressure) you build a channel to where you want to direct the water to. Like with the water, you can turn your sexual energy into a channel aimed solely at achieving your life goals faster.

Pretty interesting, huh?

And perhaps needles to say, sexual transmutation is not possible to do if you keep releasing in front of your laptop on a daily basis. Or even just two times a week.

My personal belief and observation…

I personally have a history of suffering from a porn addiction and one can indeed say that I do practice NoFap today.

So, am I successful?

Well, that kind of depends on how you'd define success.

It took me a long time to overcome my porn addiction. In fact, it was 7 years of relapsing once I started trying to give it up (find my story here). So I've only been  “clean”3 years as of now.

However, during those last 3 years I've managed to…

  • Start my own business…
  • Make it run so successfully that I was able to leave my day-job…
  • Now have a location independent business that I can operate from wherever in the world I want…
  • Reduce my social anxiety by at least 70%
  • Improve my drive, focus and energy by at least 500%

…I myself wouldn't call myself successful, yet, but at least the above is not nothing.

While I still can't claim me being successful in common sense, as people like to think of it, I need to remind you that I just got my dopamine back on track, functioning optimally, after 20 years of heavy addiction. So as far as my personal success goes, I ask of you; check back in with me 5 years from now and se where I'm at then 😉

I've noticed many others, though…

Many successful YouTubers are doing NoFap…

Over the years I've seen videos of YouTubers you could definitely consider to be very successful.

What's funny here is that, later on they happen to mention in some of their videos how they quit using porn many years ago.

Well now…I'll be damned!

I wouldn't say I was surprised to learn this, since I've been fully aware how porn can mess you up (for the last 10 years or so), and how NoFap can help give you confidence and drive, but at least it made me happy when I found it out.

I'm not going to start listing all of them here, but just a few that come to mind are…

  • Iman Gadzhi
  • Hamza
  • Captain Sinbad
  • Improvement Pill

These are guys I've seen videos from even before I knew they were doing things like dopamine fasting, NoFap etc.

What about people outside YouTube…

Well here too I could make a long list, but here are just few names of some famous people who didn't, or don't, like to waste their sexual energy…

  • Steve Jobs
  • Donald Trump
  • Nikola Tesla
  • Muhammad Ali
  • Napoleon Hill
  • 50 Cent
  • Kanye West
  • Leo Tolstoy
  • Michelangelo
  • Pythagoras
  • Plato

So, does NoFap make you successful?

Well, let's jump to the conclusion…

Does NoFap make you successful?
Conclusion and final words…

It's not right to say that NoFap makes you successful, because NoFap is nothing more than the art of abstaining from fapping to porn.

However, one can definitely say that NoFap can help you on your road to become successful.

Nothing will hold you back more in your journey to riches than being a person who is lacking focus, has poor drive and almost no energy. And guess what…

…such a person is exactly what fapping to porn on a regular will make of you.

If we then, on top of that, add the fact that NoFap helps train your ability to postpone gratification, which is one of the most important traits to have for building success, I personally do not think it's far fetched at all to end with the words…

….yes, NoFap can really help you become successful.
