Can NoFap increase Concentration & Focus? (Answer Found)

Can NoFap increase Concentration And Focus?

Are you wondering whether or not NoFap can increase your concentration?

Well, I'll give you the answer right from the start.

Yes, NoFap can increase concentration and focus. This is because, when you go on a NoFap journey and you stop over consuming porn, you will improve your dopamine system. Dopamine, in turn, is the key neurotransmitter behind your ability to stay focused on a single task for any length of time.

So, if you want more concentration power then, yes, NoFap can definitely help…

…and in this article you'll discover…

  • More about NoFap and it's ability to increase focus
  • A Mega-Focus Protocol that you can combine with NoFap
(Combine the two and you'll be amazed at how sharp you'll become)

Let's start by looking at a poll I made on my YouTube channel Project Stronger Self.

Does NoFap improve your ability to concentrate?
Poll presented…

I asked my subscribers to vote, participate and answer the following question…

Have you found that NoFap and quitting porn has helped your concentration and ability to focus?

As you can see, more than 2500 people voted.

  • 63% are absolutely certain that NoFap has helped their ability to concentrate
  • 25% think that NoFap might have improved their ability to concentrate
  • 9% are sceptical about NoFap benefitting their concentration
  • 4% are absolutely certain that NoFap hasn't done anything for their focus

A clear majority voted for positive, focus increasing benefits, right there.

A clear majority of guys think NoFap improves concentration. 88% of my subscribers-who have tried NoFap- report that NoFap has indeed improved their concentration. Only 12% report that it has not.

My personal experience with NoFap and concentration…

Having been involved in the NoFap and pmo rebooting community for 10 years by now, I have to say that this is something I personally notice as well…

…NoFap significantly increases my ability to staty focused on a single task for a good length of time.

This is not surprising at all, because…

…well, just think about it…

Jumping from video to video trains your brain to lose focus…

What are you doing during a porn session?

Well, as soon as you open a porn site, you're scanning the thumbnails with your horny little eyes, looking for a juicy video. You find one that looks hot and you start watching it.

Then what happens?

You watch it for 20-30 seconds, only to start looking for the next, better, clip. Then you click on that one, and again you only watch for 15 seconds or so… and off you go to the next one…and the next one…and the next one….click…click…click! What you are doing there is literally training your brain to lose focus (not being able to stay on one thing for any length of time).

This is just the nature of internet porn.

It is the endless novelty out there that is making it so very addictive.

I mean, let's face it, how many of you have watched an entire 120 minute adult film without fast forwarding even once? My guess is…very few of you.

Let's take a look at a few comments from some of the guys who participated in the poll…

The following comments are from some of the guys who participated in the poll.

I explicitly asked them to only comment if they are okay with me quoting them in the post. So, it's all ok 🙂

“First of all in the starting weeks of nofap my concentration dipped and after 3 weeks of nofap my concentration improved..” -Rishab Rajpal-

“Way more focus and mental clarity” -JD 23-

“I had a 4.0 gpa in basic college until i went to university and devolved heavily into pmo addiction, and i had to drop out. i lost my ability to study and write papers, i was so overwhelmed, but could not figure out what was wrong. on day 38 nofap/nopmo, and i am noticing improvements like i can read 5 pages at a time without getting distracted. i’m also journaling like crazy and noticed my word fluency and ability to articulate my thoughts improving. i have re enrolled to finish my degree. i start again next month.” -aalfo 100-

“Yes that is the main reason for me to continue this journey :)” -appu 2001-

Try combining NoFap with a mega focus protocol…

The following protocol is something that you can try if you have something important coming up in the next month or so.

Perhaps you have some important exams, work projects or some job interviews that you really want to ace. Or, perhaps you just want to try how it feels like to be super sharp in general.

Whatever it is, I recommend you try the protocol for at least 14 days.

In other words, if your exams period starts next month, make sure to start the protocol at lest two weeks prior to that…

…21 days, would be even better.

How effective is the protocol?

And, oh, one more thing…you should, obviously, do the protocol in combination with NoFap. In other words, no porn and no fapping.

The main thing is to stay away from porn, so obviously sex is going to be okay – as well as having ejaculations during sex. However, if you can stay away from busting, even during sex, the protocol will be even more effective…

…and I really mean effective here!

Have you seen the movie “Limitless”with Bradley Cooper?

Well, we're almost talking THAT effective… 😉

The 21 Day
Mega-Focus Protocol…

Limit your social media use to max 2h / day…

It's not just porn that is messing with your dopamine system and trains your brain to lose focus. Social media is a big culprit to this as well.

According to the neuroscientist, professor Andrew Huberman, a good rule of thumb to prevent social media induced concentration problems is to try to keep your social media use to under 2 hours per day.

Especially during periods where you have something important going on, and thus, I had to put this one as the very first step in the mega-focus protocol.

Daily recipe:

Max 2h of social media use from now on and for your next 21 days.

Meditate  2×15 minutes / day…

In terms of activities that have intrinsic capabilities to build your focus and concentration (literally), nothing beats mediation.

Nothing!

Just think about it…

…meditation is the exact opposite of jumping from video to video, or from comment to comment on social media, where you're literally training your brain to lose focus.

With meditation, you instead train your brain to KEEP focusing on one thing (example: your breath).

Daily recipe:

Meditate for at least 15 minutes, two times a day during this period.

Eat some of the following brain foods…

The brain expert Jim Kwik has made a list of his top 10 brain healthy foods.

These are foods that have quite a lot of research behind them for being particularly ‘brain healthy' . This is definitely something we should take advantage of during the mega-focus protocol.

Here they are…

  • Blueberries
  • Avocados
  • Coconut oil
  • Organic eggs
  • Broccoli
  • Leafy greens
  • Turmeric
  • Dark chocolate
  • Walnuts
  • Wild Salmon

Daily recipe:

Try to get at least 5 of the above food items incorporated into your diet on a daily basis during this 21 day period.

Do 30-45 minutes of light cardio / day…

I think everyone of you already know how healthy physical exercise is for your brain, so I don't even need to get further into that, do I?

Let's just say that there are an enormous amount of research showing how physical exercise, in particular cardio exercise, can help with your ability to focus.

So just do it!

Daily recipe:

If you're not used to physical exercise, then don't go too hard. Do 30 minutes of light cardio per day (for example brisk walking).

If physical exercise is not something that is new to you, then do 45 minutes of cardio a day.

Zone two cardio would be best.

Zone two cardio simply means working out with an intensity level where you are still able to hold a conversation – albeit with a bit of huffing a puffing,

Use the “Brain Pill”…

Click image to check current pricing at online vendor…

The brain pill is a clinically tested and approved over the counter product that increases your…

  • Concentration
  • Memory
  • Focus
  • Mood

Unlike many other, so called, cognitive enhancers out there, the Brain Pil actually has rock solid scientific evidence behind it.

I can personally attest to its efficacy, as boy do you feel sharp and focused when using it. I'm telling you guys, if you want to ace your upcoming exams, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

If you then combine using the Brain Pill, with the rest of the protocol, then oh man…

….you'll start feeling almost like  Bradley Cooper in the movie “Limitless”.

Daily recipe:

Take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 in the afternoon for an optimal effect.

Fast for 18h / day…

Intermittent fasting can significantly boost your concentration power. However, for some, it takes a bit of time to get used to.

This is why you want to start doing it from the very first day of the mega-focus protocol.

I recommend the following fasting window…

  • You stop eating at 8pm
  • You fast until 2 pm the following day
  • You have an ‘eating window' of 6 hours, between 2pm-8pm

In other words, you fast for 18 hours / day.

And just in case you didn't know, fasting means that you do not ingest any calories during that time. You can drink water, coffee or tea, just as long as you don't put any suger in it. In fact, you should drink during your fasting period to ensure you stay well hydrated.

Daily recipe:

Fast for 18/h day.

If you, for some reason, have a medical condition, or some other reason preventing you from dong this, then this part of the mega-focus protocol can be left out.

Give this protocol a try and see where it takes you.

Good luck!
